FAU High admissions selections are based on the competitiveness of Early and Regular Applicants, with acceptances offered to the most competitive candidates based on the following criteria:
Un-weighted GPA: 3.6 (minimum)
Algebra I successfully completed with A or B grade. Geometry preferred to be completed but not required in Math course requirements.

Students without Florida Assessment Scores should submit other school based standardized test scores (e.g. Stanford 10, Iowa Test of Basic Skills, TerraNova)
Required Next Generation AccuPlacer Test (minimum for admissions consideration):

|Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QAS)||265 (out of 300)|
|WritePlacer (may only be taken once)||4 (out of 8)|
The Admissions team does not encourage multiple retakes of the AccuPlacer. We will accept two score reports.
