Director of the Stiles Nicholson STEM Teacher Academy, Pilar Forero Taylor, recently published her research on “Balancing the Equation: Using Socratic Dialogue to Increase Student Engagement and Achievement in a Middle School Mathematics Classroom” in the Florida Journal of Educational Research. Her work exemplifies the research undertaken by the educators at our own lab school to advance educational practices here and across the nation.
