Several of our school’s educators presented their education research findings to colleagues just before school opened. Their research was conducted as a part of our school’s Comprehensive Educator Research Initiative, where A.D. Henderson & FAU High School educators engage in professional development and continuing education through graduate courses and Research Communities of Practice. This allows our educators to enhance their research skills and share best practices on a foundation of systematic inquiry, data collection, and analyses. The research presentations ranged from how art-based projects impact science knowledge to investigating ways to foster academic self-confidence in middle schoolers. These educators exemplify our lab school’s research-oriented mission!
