2025-2026 Clubs & Student Organizations

Student activities function through various organized classes, clubs, and organizations.

Faculty and administration desire to continually strive to provide students with well-balanced activities and a program allowing for social interaction, community involvement, academic research, and leadership experiences. Our goal is to continually perpetuate within students a strong sense of responsibility, honor, loyalty, and cooperation toward their school. Student activities will motivate and develop students’ ability to plan, conduct meetings, and evaluate their efforts.

FAU High School students have the best of all worlds - an intimate high school campus and a thriving research university. No two Owls are exactly the same, and we offer clubs and activities to reflect that diversity. Among the 40+ groups at FAU High School, and the  over 400 groups  at Florida Atlantic University, there’s something, or maybe two or three “somethings”, for everyone.

Academic Games

The FAU High School Academic Games Club is an official chapter of the Academic Games League of America (AGLOA). Our students regularly compete against other high schools in Palm Beach County, showcasing their skills in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Propaganda, and Social Studies.

Competitions are typically held on Tuesdays from August through February at Santaluces High School. On non-competition Tuesdays, the club meets for practice in the FAU High School building.

The Break Room

The Break Room is a student-led club that combines engaging presentations with fun activities in order to educate students on positive habits and how these habits can improve their mental health. Each meeting starts off with a brief presentation about the topic that will be discussed, followed by a fun activity! These presentations range from self-care to the importance of sleep. Some activities may include making bracelets, painting rocks, making vision boards, etc. Every semester, we will have delicious debriefs, during which we will bring tasty treats and debrief about our days. At least once a semester, we introduce students to more complex mental health topics by inviting professionals, including therapists, behaviorists, and nutritionists, to give presentations. These experts lead Q&A-style discussions on conditions like anxiety, OCD, depression, and other mental health disorders, allowing students to gain deeper insights and networking opportunities. Through this club, we aim to improve students' overall mental health at FAU High and provide students with a safe place to relax despite the stressful academic environment we are exposed to daily.
